We are proud to support Megaflatables in their efforts to help GOSH and have purchased a Christmas tree as well as giving an additional cash donation to help make a difference to such a fantastic charity.

Megaflatables have been selling Christmas trees for the last four years. Over the years they have donated an astonishing £9,000 and set themselves the target to raise another £3,000 this year.

With the help of the local community, this year a huge £5,150 was raised with over 100 trees being sold. This is amazing news as all the money will help to support many families in Essex whose children are cared for by GOSH and make it feel like a home from home for all those children that our having to stay there this Christmas.

CrystalView Services will continue to support charitable organisations within our community and will be supporting Megaflatables next Christmas.

After supporting Chelmsford Food Bank in previous years, we were able to identify how crucial the food bank is to the local community and how much of a difference these donations make to families and individuals.

Chelmsford Food Bank is a project of the Oasis Church, which has numerous food donation centres open across Chelmsford and has been providing its services to the local community for the last seven years.

To help the thousands of volunteers tackle poverty and hunger in our community, CrystalView Services has collected internal donations from staff, consisting of many Christmas treats and essentials as per the shopping list provided by the food bank. To support the organisation further, we have provided an additional cash donation to help support the charity meet the demands over the Christmas period and during these uncertain times with COVID19.

There are ways you can help support our community too! Chelmsford Food Bank are relying on our donations all year round. You can offer your support by making either cash or food donations. If you visit their website you will be able to find regularly updated shopping lists, alternatively a link to their fundraising page, where you can make a cash donation.

As a company, we will continue to support charitable organisations within our community and encourage and support all our employees and their private fundraising events.

Last night, CrystalView Services took part in the 20th anniversary of the annual Race 4 Business, hosted by Birketts Solicitors.

This year, CrystalView Services has raised £360 so far for this year’s chosen charity.

For the event’s 20th anniversary, all proceeds will be going towards a new vehicle for Farleigh’s Hospice Outreach Project (HOP). This will allow them to continue having a mobile unit that provides a flexible and accessible range of services within the heart of the community.

The total amount raised between all the partaking businesses has not been announced but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out!

On the 15th of June 2017, thousands of runners will arrive in Chelmsford Town Centre (in Essex) to commence the 3.5 mile run. This fundraising event is supporting local Brentwood charity – SNAP!

What is SNAP and what do they do?

SNAP stands for “Special Needs and Parents” and is a wonderful charity which helps make life easier for families in Essex who have children and young people, with any special need or disability. The charity is run from a dedicated centre in the former Duchess of Kent building in Pastoral Way, Warley.

From here they provide a unique service to Essex families where people can benefit from, training, advice, counseling and multi-sensory activities. Over all, the charity has helped over 3,500 families with over 250 new families seeking support from the charity every year.

Christina Stubbs, SNAP Manager, has said: “Proceeds raised from Birketts’ Race4Business will benefit the SNAP community, in particular through the funding of our specialist Parent Training Talks and Individual Family Sessions, both of which are vital parts of our ongoing drive to ‘Strengthen Families.”

This year we are aiming to raise over £1000 for SNAP with a team of over 25 runners!

We love taking part in Race 4 Business as it allows us to join with local businesses and make a positive difference to our local community. It also gives us a great team-building opportunity outside of work and of course, helps us work off all those Easter Eggs.

The race is a 3.5 mile course which runs through Chelmsford City Centre. The charity event is open to all abilities and fitness standards.
